Our Founders
Laurie Proulx
Laurie Proulx has been helping individuals and families
move for years. She’s been a licensed Massachusetts realtor since 1984 and recently has been called upon to work closely
with individuals who simply don’t know where to begin in preparing their house for the market. They have accumulated
so many treasured belongings over the years and the thought of moving seems insurmountable. Laurie has guided them in the
process of preparing their home for the market, discussing the areas that need to be repaired, referring them to qualified
contractors, and bringing in a personal assistant to help sort through items.
The process can be daunting from start to finish and often
times the homeowner is not capable of managing everything that needs to be completed without assistance. Laurie has been the point person for repairs, quotes, coordination of contractors,
attic and basement cleanup, trash removal, and more.
Laurie has been investing in real estate for over 20 years,
is a licensed Massachusetts Realtor, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lowell. Former positions
inlcude: Director of Field Service Operations, Caliper Life Science, Hopkinton, MA; Northeast Field Service Manager, Baxter
Travenol. Active board member of Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce; membership in the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, Massachusetts
Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Appalachian Mountain Club, ARFF Dog Agility Club.

Keena
Keel
A business owner for over 20 years, Keena Keel is proud of the superior service she has provided to
her customers. Her successful businesses include residential cleaning, residential and commercial electrical contracting,
moving and piano services.
As her businesses have taken her into clients’ homes, Keena has been struck by the frustration
and confusion clients experience when they live amid clutter either due to accumulation of just too many belongings or due
to items absorbed from other family members. As these clients considered moves to smaller quarters or to active adult communities,
they reported feeling overwhelmed with so many tasks ahead of them. Keena faced these challenges personally as she moved family
members to Florida and across the country.
She developed property management experience during her 10 years as President of the Board of Trustees
for Yankee Village Condominiums. Currently, she serves on the board of the Harvard Hills Estates Home Owners Association.
Keena graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Sociology and has been certified by the New
England Conservatory of Music in Piano Technology.
With DownSizing Consultants, Laurie and Keena join their considerable skills and years of serving clients
to turn a stressful move into a smooth transition.
